Inspired by a 19th century architect's table, Ralph Lauren's Trestle Desk is an incredible piece and although it is relatively modern has vintage charm. Made from American Oak it features a plank top raised on wooden trestle legs. The top is comprised of four planks and extensions on each end that run perpendicular to the desk's plank top, giving the desk a length of 221.5cm. Seven large bolts set deep into each extension appear to hold the extensions in place with nuts on the opposite side, adding to the desk's industrial flair. Two long dovetailed drawers slide open from either side of the desk, creating a partner's style design.
Free floating on sturdy legs the desk can be transported as three separate piece. The Ralph Lauren Home medallion maker's mark is secured to the inside of one drawer.
