A contrasting pair of rustic sculptural hand-built pots
Tool marks on the clay body have been left, so that the finished candlesticks have a primitive and organic feel.
This is enhanced with a glossy glaze irregularly applied on the dark stick and a green brown matt glaze on the lighter pot which intentionally leaves parts of the body exposed.
The makers mark N clearly visible on bottom but provenance cannot be given
